Meet and talk with chef instructors and current students while you enjoy samples from our sweet and savory food stations. You will learn all about the Culinary Arts, Baking and Pastry Arts, Culinary Dietetics and Culinary/Hospitality B.S. majors at IUP.

Open House Agenda
Your visit will begin at the IUP Punxsutawney campus.
Check-in at the Learning Center starting at 8:30 a.m. Program Begins at 9:00 a.m.
Here are a few of the things you will do on your visit:
- Meet faculty and students.
- Explore our culinary and baking kitchen laboratories.
- Learn about culinary program and degree options, externships, study abroad, and more.
- Sample sweet and savory snacks at our food stations.
- Indulge in a specialty coffee.
- Get the info you need in question and answer sessions with our chefs.
- Watch the IUP Academy of Culinary Arts Ice Carving Club in action, advised by Chef Martha J. Rupert.
- Get a close-up look at award-winning sugar and chocolate showpieces created by our Baking and Pastry faculty Chef Hilary DeMane and Chef Anthony Battaglia.
- Take a guided tour of our Living and Learning Center; see our computer labs, library, fitness center, suite-style campus housing, and dining facility.
- Talk with admissions staff about the application process, financial aid, scholarships, housing, and more.
