Office of International Education
This office provides more than just immigration documents. Learn how it can help you adjust to life in the U.S. and at IUP.

The Office of International Education handles all immigration documents for admitted international students, including students who are planning to attend the Academy of Culinary Arts in Punxsutawney, Pa.

International Education will work closely with Culinary Admissions to make sure the necessary documents are mailed to you.

Here is everything you will need to complete your application to the Academy of Culinary Arts:

  1. Application: Apply electronically or submit a paper application.
  2. $50 application fee. (Online application requires payment by MasterCard or Discover. Paper application fee can be paid by check or money order payable to IUP. )
  3. Affidavit of Financial Support: This demonstrates your financial ability to attend the academy.
  4. Secondary school transcripts: Official, notarized, English translation of courses taken and examination results.
  5. Other diplomas or certificates: Please send copies, not originals.
  6. Official transcripts of any college, university, or other postsecondary work: Courses taken and examination results should be listed.
  7. English proficiency examination: Official results of TOEFL, ELI, or AULC.
  8. SAT or ACT: If available (official copies).
