Northpointe Campus

Advance your career.
The Health Services Administration M.S. (HSAD) is designed to be a collaborative program between the Department of Employment and Labor Relations and the Department of Nursing and Allied Health Professions. These departments have the unique knowledge and expertise to provide a challenging educational experience at the graduate level for students interested in pursuing a career in health services administration.

A program unlike any other.
This unique program has a stronger health component than other MBA Health Services or HSAD programs. Designed to meet the need for health care administrators, it adds business and human resource components to deal effectively with the rapidly changing challenges in the field of health care.

Become a leader in health care administration.
HSAD prepares students for a wide variety of leadership positions within health service organizations. Recognizing the importance of the interaction between management and labor, as well as the ethical and social issues in health care, requires mastering these important interactive skills to meet the needs of the growing health care industry. In today’s active and litigious environment, health care managers need skills to direct, not just the management aspect of their positions, but also the human side of the job. This degree program offers a balance between labor and health care that is the key to becoming a successful leader in today’s health care industry.

A blended learning environment.
This program provides students with an effective balance of coursework in health services, employee relations, and research methodology that would enable them to excel in the role of a health service administrator. HSAD is a flexible, part-time program that combines face-to-face meetings weekday evenings alongside online coursework to reduce the time commitment of working professionals.
