Dr. William J. Madia, who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in 1969 and went on to earn a Master of Science in Physics in 1971, and his wife, Audrey DeLaquil Madia, who is a 1970 graduate of IUP’s College of Health and Human Services with a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics, are being honored with the Volunteer of the Year Award for the numerous services they have provided to IUP over the years, including hosting several alumni events at their home in La Quinta, California.
