IUP is a member of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education and, as such, has a direct reporting line to the system’s chancellor. IUP also is governed by the Council of Trustees, which meets during four scheduled meetings on campus and then at other times as needed.
The Office of the President acts as liaison and contact point to these entities.
The Council of Trustees will meet in 2011–2012 on these dates: September 15 and December 15, 2011; March 22 and May 10, 2012.
