IUP is a member of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education and, as such, has a direct reporting line to the system’s chancellor. IUP also is governed by the Council of Trustees, which meets during four scheduled meetings on campus and then at other times as needed.
The Office of the President acts as liaison and contact point to these entities.
The Council of Trustees will meet in 2013–2014 on these dates: May 16, September 12, and December 12, 2013; March 13 and May 15, 2014.
