Exhibit: 2017 MFA Thesis Exhibition

University Museum (Sutton Hall) and the Kipp & Annex Galleries (Sprowls Hall)

These concurrent exhibitions showcase works by the Spring 2017 Master of Fine Arts candidates and celebrate the final stages of their graduate degree work.

This exhibit runs from March 25 to April 27.

Scott Joplin Memorial Recital

DiCicco Hall, Cogswell Room 121

A Recital commemorating the 100th anniversary of Scott Joplin's death in 1917, the recital will present Joplin favorites and lesser known gems. Music Historian Matt Baumer will offer historical context and perform along with IUP faculty pianists Sun-Min Kim and Evan Englestad, soprano Anqwenique Wingfield, and the Hoodlebug Brass.

Concert: Litton Quartet

The Litton Quartet, IUP's resident faculty string quartet, will present another special recital. The Litton Quartet is comprised of Stanley and Swana Chepaitis, violins; Raul Fauré, viola; and Linda Jennings, cello.
