The Department of Theater and Dance at Indiana University of Pennsylvania is doing a regional search to create a pool of possible applicants for temporary faculty positions for the 2009–2011 academic years. This search invites applicants in all areas of theater and dance production and theory.
Should a candidate chosen for this pool be offered a faculty contract at IUP, his or her salary and rank (at either instructor or assistant professor level) will depend upon applicant credentials.
Candidates will need an M.F.A., or an M.A. degree in Theater with significant professional experience. Applications will be accepted throughout 2009.
The department consists of ten faculty and 120 majors on a campus of 14,000 with up-to-date production facilities. Further information on the IUP College of Fine Arts and the department may be found at the Department of Theater and Dance website.
