Taking a real college course is a great way to find out what college will be like.

Summer courses last just five weeks, so you can fit them in with the rest of your busy schedule. And they give you the chance to explore your interests while earning college credit.

Dual Enrollment

Participate in IUP's Dual-Enrollment Program, you can take IUP courses at a 75 percent discount. If you've got the grades (we require a 3.0 or higher GPA). 

Visiting High School Student

If your high school is not part of our dual enrollment program, you can register for summer classes at IUP as a visiting high school student. We require a 3.0 CGPA and a copy of your high school transcript.

How to Register

  1. Choose what class(es) you want to take: Schedule of Classes

  2. Complete the Non-IUP Student Application and pay the $25 nonrefundable application fee.

  3. Send your high school transcript (verifying you have a 3.0 GPA) by email to visiting-student@iup.edu.
