State System Visiting Students

Students attending another Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education institution are able to transfer the credit and the grade back to their home institution.

All Other Applicants

Summers sessions are open to students from other universities and the general public. A non-IUP student application must be completed.

High School Students

Qualified high school students may take summer classes at IUP through the dual enrollment program or as visiting high school students.

How to Apply


Registration for Summer Sessions will begin on December 1.

Applications for non-IUP students can be submitted beginning November 20.

When are Summer Session classes held?

  • Early Summer Session begins May 11 and ends May 29, 2015.
  • Summer Session I begins June 1 and ends July 2, 2015.
  • Summer Session II begins July 6 and ends August 6, 2015.

The 2015 Summer Session schedule of classes will be available November 20, 2014.
