The Crisis Assessment and Response Team (CART) exists to supports students at risk.

For the purposes of the CART, a “student at risk” is one who may pose a potential threat to him or herself and/or to others. Paramount within the CART model is the following goals:

  1. Actively and accurately identifying students at risk
  2. Designing and implementing effective intervention strategies to support students at risk and other affected members of the University community.

The CART members meet on a biweekly and as-needed basis and otherwise communicate and collaborate in an ongoing fashion.
