The Programming and Events office assists in the coordination of the parade in addition to working with other offices such as Student Affairs, Athletics, and Alumni Affairs to create a positive homecoming experience for the entire IUP community.
The Programming and Events office coordinates a variety of events designed to offer students and families multiple opportunities to enjoy the weekend at IUP.
The Six O’Clock Series provides IUP students, employees, and community members an opportunity to learn about current issues and approach familiar topics from a new perspective.
Campus Safety Events
Organizations planning a campus event requiring safety and security provisions such as university police, electronic screening requirements and others file through the Center for Student Life a Safety Planning Form for Campus Events. The form is found through the "forms" link on the right.
Campus-Wide Special Events
The Office for Student Leadership provides programming guides, guidance and support for organizations planning a campus-wide event.

IUP recognizes over 200 student-run organizations. Student organizations and programs can apply for university recognition and support as well as promotional assistance.
