Pittsburgh skyline at night

As part of a dynamic community where every day brings new ways to get involved and make friends, you may not step outside the IUP campus very often. But whenever you do, you'll find plenty of opportunities to have fun.

Enjoy 280 beautiful acres of woods and fields at the Co-op Park, a recreational area owned by IUP and located only a few miles from campus. The park features a picnic pavilion, a fishing pond, two softball fields, a sand volleyball court, a two-and-a-half mile fitness par course, a nearby walk-in tent campsite, and other facilities.

In the summer, throw discs at the 18-hole disc golf course and, in winter, rent equipment from IUP Campus Recreation Services to go sledding, tubing, or tobogganing on the range.

The warm, rustic College Lodge and Ski Hut can also be rented for dances, parties, and dinners. And the park is connected by ten miles of hiking and walking trails to White's Woods Nature Center.
