Annah Hill and Mariha ShieldCongratulations to Annah Hill and Mariha Shields, who received funding for their innovation proposal through ACPAC.

Through their proposal, “Empowering and Engaging Students and Faculty Through 3D Printing Technology,” a MakerSpace/Active Learning classroom is being developed. The additional funds obtained through this ACPAC grant supports this project through the purchase of an additional 3D printer to meet the needs and provide access to the large population of students and faculty within the college. A mini 3D printer will enable faculty to demonstrate and use the equipment within their own classrooms and cooperating teachers' classrooms, therefore providing a wider range of accessibility.
