Administration and Leadership Studies Ph.D. Program
The ALS Ph.D. program focuses on leadership in the nonprofit and public sectors and is designed to educate administrators who work in a wide variety of professions.
- The cohort-based program admits between 15 and 20 students at a time—in even years at the main campus in Indiana, Pa., and in odd years at the off-site program in Harrisburg, Pa.
- Classes are offered evenings and/or weekends and are designed to accommodate the schedules of working professionals.
- Taught by an interdisciplinary faculty, the program is housed in the Department of Sociology and offered in collaboration with the Department of Economics.
