
- GLBT Commission
- The Commission on Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Issues works to improve the climate for diversity within IUP and specifically to address issues affecting the welfare of GLBT members of the university community.
- Native American Awareness Council
- The Native American Awareness Council was created to inform the university and the wider Indiana community about historical and contemporary issues in Native America.
- Women’s Commission
- The President’s Commission on the Status of Women at IUP is charged with examining the status of women at the individual universities, identifying areas that need improvement, recommending solutions for problems, promoting networking, and encouraging leadership among women.
- African American Cultural Center
- The African American Cultural Center is dedicated to the enhancement of multicultural awareness and racial sensitivity. Through educational, cultural, and social programs, interventions, services, and the provision of a facility for informal exchange, the office will demonstrate racial/cultural differences while it focuses on fostering and preserving an understanding and appreciation of the history, culture, and achievements of African Americans and others of African descent.

- Women’s studies is an area of study that addresses the experiences and contributions of women from multidisciplinary perspectives.
- Frederick Douglass Institute for Intercultural Research
- The Frederick Douglass Institute for Intercultural Research is an interdisciplinary, campuswide body that serves as a resource for information about, and advocacy on issues related to, equity and diversity at IUP.
- International Education
- Serving as an umbrella for the university’s many international initiatives, programs, and events
- Disability Support
- Disability Support Services assists students with disabilities of all kinds, including learning, physical, hearing, vision, or psychological.
- Latino Student Association of IUP
- The mission of the Latino Student Association includes academically enhancing Latino students’ educational work at IUP, provide Latino students with professional and social activities that will promote their educational and cultural concerns, and create a functional network that will facilitate the students' adjustment to the IUP community.
- Hispanic Heritage Council
- The Hispanic Heritage Council is committed to fostering the appreciation and understanding of the Hispanic culture through an outreach of efforts.
