Hosted by the Diversity Student Council, this program is dedicated to exposing students to diversity, inclusion, and social justice education. There will be team building and other activities, along with discussions about various topics. The event will challenge students to step outside their comfort zones and discuss issues including, but not limited to, privilege, stereotypes, inclusion, and microaggressions. Double feature: Akron is a moving family drama about two college-age men whose love for each other is complicated by a tragedy from the past in one of their families. A Young Man's Future is the story of a gay couple whose future is bright until one of them develops schizophrenia.
The 13th Annual Indiana LGBTQIA Film Festival will be held each Sunday evening in October. Admission is free, donations are gratefully accepted.
