Have you ever wondered what it would be like if you could ask the framers of the Constitution why they chose to write it the way they did? Or have you thought about their opinions on contemporary issues we’re facing today? What would they think about our society now? What did they actually intend?
Find out the answers to these questions and more at the Six O’Clock Series, “Just what did they originally intend? A casual conversation with the framers of the U.S. Constitution.”
Dr. Gwen Torges will moderate this discussion between Ben Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and Charles Pinckney (played by faculty members from the History and Political Science departments). Come out and join us for a great discussion, and bring all of your questions as well. Attendance vouchers will be available if needed.
