Welcome!

The Service Learning office promotes excellence in professional and personal character development through experiential learning opportunities that bridge the curriculum with community service. It does this by implementing two separate programs. They are Service Learning and Volunteer Services.

Community Involvement Fair: Agencies in the Indiana community provide information on campus regarding volunteer opportunities and internships.
Into the Streets: Into the Streets is a chance for IUP students to become involved in the community.
Kids Read: KidsRead is a literacy program that assists school-age children in the local Indiana area.
Serve Study: The Service Learning Program is a federally funded work program which provides employment opportunities at nonprofit agencies in the Indiana area to eligible undergraduate and graduate students.
Volunteerism: Volunteering not only benefits the community but is also looks great on your resume and can give you the valuable experience you will need to land your dream job.
