Teaching Associates for Educational and School Psychology

  • The teaching associates for the Educational and School Psychology Department teach one section of Educational Psychology (EDSP 102) each semester.

Teaching associate positions are awarded in the Spring of each academic year. Students admitted to the doctoral program in school psychology may request consideration for this position. Applicants whose grades and academic progress are satisfactory are given the opportunity to present a lesson to a committee of faculty members. The committee judges the presentations and awards the teaching associate positions accordingly.

Teaching Associates for the 2012–2013 academic year:

    Latitia S. Lattanzio, M.Ed.

I am a 2012 graduate of Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pa. There, I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Literature, Secondary Education. Upon graduation, I began the master’s/certification program for School Psychology at IUP. I recently completed and earned a Master of Education degree in August. Currently, I am a part of the doctoral program for School Psychology and hold a teaching associate position in the department. I would love to gain experience in the field and someday return to the classroom to teach graduate courses.
