Christopher A. Janicak, professor, received his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Research Methodology from Loyola University of Chicago. He has an M.S. in Industrial Technology/Industrial Safety Concentration from Illinois Sate University and a B.S. in Health and Safety Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Over the past twenty years, Dr. Janicak has been published extensively in books, book chapters, and peer reviewed journals. He has made numerous national and international conference presentations. His areas of expertise are in occupational fatalities and safety performance measurement.
Dr. Janicak’s professional activities include leadership positions with the Executive Committee of the Applied Sciences Accreditation Commission of ABET and the American Society of Safety Engineers at the chapter level.
