Dr. Susan Poorman, a professor in the department of Nursing and Allied Health, was invited to deliver the keynote address at UPMC St. Margaret's Clinical Research Forum. The presentation held on May 24, 2013 was entitled, “The Research Circle: From Practice to Research and Back to Practice.”

The Department of Nursing and Allied Health Professions will be offering NURS 781 Simulation in Nursing Education as a graduate elective this summer. The course will be taught in a workshop format on May 20, May 28, and June 11.
