Come celebrate with us in Nursing! The baby shower for our new baby SIM girl will take place Wednesday, May 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Nursing Suite in Pratt Putt Hall.

The Department of Nursing and Allied Health Professions will be offering NURS 781 Simulation in Nursing Education as a graduate elective this summer. The course will be taught in a workshop format on May 20, May 28, and June 11.

Projects by Professor Cynthia Zidek, Professor Edith West, and Professor Michele Crytzer, Department of Nursing, have been accepted for podium presentations at the Worldwide Nursing Conference, to be held in Singapore on July 8 and 9, 2013.

Professor Michele Gerwick, Professor Theresa Gropelli, and faculty member Pamela O'Harra, Department of Nursing, presented at the Elsevier Faculty Development Conference in Las Vegas in January.

Congratulations to Dr. Janice Holmes, former Sigma ZL president, whose abstract titled "Changing the Culture of Nurse Educators through a Caring-Leader Mentorship Model" was chosen for an oral presentation at the 42nd Biennial Convention of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, to be held November 16-20, 2013.

Zeta Lambda Chapter welcomes 29 undergraduate, one "dual," and one community member who were inducted at the ZL Luncheon held on April 20 at the Rustic Lodge in Indiana, PA.
