The IUP Residential Energy Project has been created to increase students’ awareness of their impact on energy usage and help students to build energy saving habits that will be useful throughout the course of their lives.

The Energy Competitions

This is a competition between suite-style residential buildings to see which one can reduce energy usage the most during a set period of time.

“How Green is Your Nest?” Competition

The “How Green is Your Nest?” competition is open to all IUP residence halls on the Indiana and Punxsutawney campuses. Students will work with the other residents in their IUP residence hall to create a sustainability-focused program or project.
