IUP Punxsutawney Writing Center

  • Need help with your writing? We’re right here!

The IUP Punxsutawney Writing Center is the place to go for one-on-one writing help—whether you are working on an assignment for a course, a résumé, a scholarship application, or even a poem. Writers at any level can benefit from a visit to the writing center. Our mentors can help not only with proofreading and making corrections, but also with getting started and revising.

Dr. Lynn Shelly is the director of the Writing Center at IUP Punxsutawney (lynn.shelly@iup.edu). Lara Hauer is the Writing Center’s lead mentor and assistant director (l.m.hauer@iup.edu). Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

The Writing Center is located in the Oasis Room on the second floor of the Learning Center in room 222. Our hours are listed below. Any changes in our scheduled hours will be posted on the white board in the Learning Commons.
