For Current Punxsutawney Students

  • Congratulations! As a member of the IUP community, you have every reason to be very proud. IUP is one of four public, doctoral research universities in Pennsylvania, with more than 140 majors and programs, including 50 master’s programs and 13 doctoral degrees.

IUP is consistently recognized by national guidebooks and publications for academic excellence and affordability. Students are bright, inquisitive and accomplished, and win international awards for outstanding scholarship, like the Fulbright and the Goldwater.

When you graduate, you’ll become part of a network of more than 135,000 alumni, who live in every state and 90 countries around the world. You will be in the company of alumni who are university presidents, state system chancellors, chief executives of leading companies and industries, playwrights and authors, musicians and actors, and luminaries of the sports world.

The campus offers many resources, including the IUP Punxsutawney Library, computer labs and the IUP Punxsutawney Writing Center. While IUP Punxsutawney does not have a dedicated health center, you can visit the IUP Center for Health and Well-Being on the Indiana campus, or use providers in the Punxsutawney community if you need assistance with your health care.

As an IUP student, you have access to all the resources at the IUP Punxsutawney campus and the Indiana campus. Bus transportation is available to the Indiana campus.
