Students completing prior graduate work can petition to have courses waived. Students must provide a syllabus and identify which course(s) they feel the course is comparable to in our curriculum. It will be evaluated by the faculty member teaching the course to determine if the breadth, depth and content of the course is comparable to the one taught in our department. The number of courses approved can be sufficient to reduce by one year the length of time it takes to complete the program.
