PSE Undergraduate Programs

B.S.Ed., Early Childhood–Special Education
The Early Childhood–Special Education program is designed to prepare students as highly qualified, competent, and effective teachers of all learners from pre-K through grade 4. The program has an emphasis on best practices in both early childhood education and special education. Students in this program will meet t
B.S.Ed. Early Childhood-Special Education, Urban Track
This track prepares students for teaching in urban school districts, especially in low-income communities with high minority enrollments.
B.S.Ed., Middle Level Education 4-8
The Middle Level certification will prepare students to teach grades 4–8 with a specialization in their choice of Math, English/Language Arts, Social Studies, or Science.

PSE Graduate Programs

Master’s in Education, Monroeville
A two-year graduate program for busy teachers
M.Ed. in Literacy and(or) Reading Specialist Certification
This degree is offered to educators certified in teaching who desire graduate studies in reading and literacy theories, research, and instructional practices.
D.Ed., Administration and Leadership Studies
This three-year, part-time program is designed to enhance administrative skills for school and college administrators.
D.Ed., Curriculum and Instruction

Principal Certification
IUP offers a 15 credit K-12 Principal Certification Program, distinguished by its performance approach for administrative certification.
