Offices and commissions reporting directly to the president.

Economic Development
IUP is actively involved in all areas of economic development, from the direct support of business and workforce needs to workplace safety and homeland security.
GLBT Commission
The Commission on Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Issues works to improve the climate for diversity within IUP and specifically to address issues affecting the welfare of GLBT members of the university community.
Internal Review
The Office of Internal Review performs internal audit functions, financial reviews, and operational and procedural audits. It also engages in a continuous review of internal financial controls.
Murtha Institute
The John P. Murtha Institute for Homeland Security leads the Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s unified effort to provide quality educational programs, conduct significant research, and provide effective community outreach in the areas of homeland security and homeland defense.
Planning and Assessment
The Office of Institutional Research, Planning, and Assessment provides official university data and statistics to internal and external constituencies.
Reducing Student Substance Abuse
The President’s Commission on Reducing Student Substance Abuse identified and recommended initiatives and strategies to reduce substance abuse among IUP students. 
Social Equity
The Office of Social Equity and Civic Engagement works to assist in the creation of a campus environment that promotes diversity and values individual differences.

Academic Affairs
The Academic Affairs Division provides organizational support and leadership for the academic programs of Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Administration and Finance
Our employees serve in roles including maintaining IUP facilities and grounds, ensuring campus safety, handling student billing, and managing the university payroll.
Student Affairs
The Division of Student Affairs promotes and enhances student success and personal development by collaboratively and strategically creating and leading programs and services, which advocate for and respond to the broad spectrum of student needs, interests, and aspirations.
University Relations
The University Relations Division enhances IUP’s image, broadens its identity, and builds long-term voluntary relationships between IUP and its constituencies in order to stimulate greater understanding and support.
