MA in Public Affairs

Understanding the System

The MA in Public Affairs program (MAPA) is designed to provide an interdisciplinary education that focuses on policy analysis, administrative management, and budgeting. Our internship or field-based research thesis options will also assist you in gaining the experience employers are looking for today. This program also serves as an excellent foundation for doctoral studies. Those who have graduated from the program have gone on to become administrators, project directors, staff analysts, and supervisors in government and human service agencies.
