IUP Celebrating Constitution Day With Public Reading, Program on Framers of the Constitution

Indiana University of Pennsylvania will celebrate Constitution Day on September 12, with two events free and open to the community: the traditional public reading of the Constitution by members of the IUP community, and the Six O’Clock Series event, “What Would Our Founding Fathers Say?” with Ben Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, Charles Pinckney, and James Madison.

Two events will highlight Constitution Day, the day in 1787 when the US Constitution was signed. On Monday, September 21, the IUP community is invited to participate in a public reading of the Constitution at noon. That evening, four of the authors of the Constitution will give a presentation at the Six O’Clock Series.
