The University Police Department employs two full-time police officers whose function is to provide crime prevention services to students, staff, and faculty.
These officers have advanced training in crime prevention and provide a wide range of educational programs, including rape prevention and awareness, drug and alcohol awareness, personal safety, theft awareness, vandalism, and related issues.
Crime prevention officers are also available to meet the special educational needs of campus groups and organizations.
