Student and Employee Permit Application Instructions

Open URSA.

Before proceeding you will need to have access to a printer to print out the temporary parking permit at the time of application.

  1. Click on the key.
  2. Log in using your eight-digit banner ID from your I-card and your eight- to fifteen-digit PIN. If you are an employee and forgot your PIN, click on Forgot Pin and follow directions..
  3. If you are a student, click on Student Services and Financial Aid.
    If you are an employee, click on Employee.
  4. Then click on Online Parking Account.
  5. Click on Online Parking Account.
  6. Clickon Apply for Permits.
  7. Verify your address and click Next. If the address is incorrect, you must update your address in URSA under Personal Information. Your permit will be sent to the permanent home address that is listed in your account.
  8. Select the permit that you are applying for. If you are a commuter, select Commuter. If you are living on campus, select Long Term. If you need a motorcycle permit, select Motorcycle.
  9. Read the page and click the box to Agree to the Terms, and click Next.
  10. At this point you may add your vehicle information, or select on your current vehicle(s) if there are no changes.
  11. Click on Next.
  12. Click on Next. (If you are purchasing a Long Term Permit, you must enter in your credit card information.)
  13. Review the information and make sure it is correct. Click on Next.
  14. Print this page. It is your seven-day temporary permit.
  15. Your permit will be sent to the permanent home address that is listed in your account.
