Fitness Class Detail Description

R.I.P.P.E.D.

“The one stop body shock” is a “plateau proof fitness formula” causing continuity, consistency, and challenge in each and every class. Your body never gets a chance to become accustomed to the constantly changing format. Regular participants to the R.I.P.P.E.D. program receive ultimate results in minimal time, ranging 750–1,000 calories burned in just 50 minutes! This is a high-intensity program combining the components of R.I.P.P.E.D.—Resistance, Interval, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance, and Diet. This workout is performed to driving, motivating, and modern music that makes R.I.P.P.E.D. fun and beneficial!

Yoga

This class is designed to build strength and relieve stress! Emphasis will be placed on attention to the breath, alignment, and flexibility. Postures will utilize many muscle groups, especially the core, to help improve balance. This class also incorporates some Pilates movements for body sculpting. This is a challenging class; however, all levels are welcome! This class is BYOM (Bring Your Own Mat). There are a limited amount of yoga mats available to be loaned out at the Health Hut. E-mail the Health Hut at health-hut@iup.edu at least a week in advance of the class to check on the availability of a mat.  

Zumba

A Latin-inspired dance fitness class. This is high-energy class that includes a wide variety of music, including Raggaeton, Top 40, Arabian, Hip Hop, Salsa, and more! You will focus on toning your core, thighs, and arms while moving to the beat. From beginners to Zumba experts, you will have a blast shaking it and working up a sweat!
