B.S.Ed., Middle Level Education 4-8

The Middle Level certification will prepare students to teach grades 4–8 with a specialization in their choice of Math, English/Language Arts, Social Studies, or Science.

• The Math certification will allow teachers to teach all general subjects in grades 4–6 and to be the teacher of record for math in grades 7 and 8.
• The English/Language Arts certification will allow teachers to teach all general subjects in grades 4–6 and to be the teacher of record for English/Language Arts in grades 7 and 8.
• The Social Studies certification will allow teachers to teach all general subjects in grades 4–6 and to be the teacher of record for Social Studies in grades 7 and 8.
• The Science certification will allow teachers to teach all general subjects in grades 4–6 and to be the teacher of record for Science in grades 7 and 8.
