Living-Learning Communities

Research has shown that learning is an active and dynamic process that extends beyond the confines of the classroom. At IUP, we recognize the educational potential of our residential facilities and, accordingly, offer a variety of specific and intentional learning experiences in them.

As you complete your on-campus housing application, you will undoubtedly be looking for a living arrangement that is a good match for you and gives you a connection to others sharing similar goals and interests. Living-learning communities offer residents an opportunity to interact with others who share related academic, career, or personal perspectives and ambitions, while allowing a chance for residents to participate in special academic and co-curricular programming designed especially for them.
