Funding Opportunities

The Research Institute supports faculty and staff interested in locating funding opportunities for sponsored research and other programs.

In addition to the database subscription services and Internet resources listed below, your Research Institute Grant and Contract Specialist can perform a Custom Funding Search to assist in locating potential funding opportunities. Access to SPINPlus and the Grants Resource Center are available from any on-campus computer.

Center For Rural PA

The CRPA staff will be on the IUP campus on Tuesday, April 8, at 11:00 a.m. to discuss, in more detail, the targeted topics for 2015 Request for Proposals (RFP) and to answer questions specific to your project idea

If you have an interest in submitting to this RFP and are available around 11:00 a.m., please attend this session. It is always extremely beneficial. The session will be held in the RI Conference Room, 1179 Grant St., Indiana PA  15701 (corner of Oakland and Grant). If you are not able to attend at that time, but have questions, there is a contact name, number, and e-mail in the RFP. CRPA staff welcomes your communication.

All tenure/tenure-track faculty are eligible to apply. If you are interested in submitting a Letter of Intent, please contact Tracy Eisenhower at the IUP Research Institute directly.  

Please note: All Letters of Intent must be submitted by the RI. Faculty are not permitted to submit LOIs without the direct knowledge and participation of the RI.
