Office of Veterans Affairs
The Veterans Affairs Office is dedicated to serving student veterans and dependents of veterans. The office assists veterans in applying for benefits, provides information about Federal Tuition Assistance (FTA) and the Education Assistant Program (EAP) from various branches of the Armed Services, and provides help with paperwork and possible course exemptions.

IUP Veterans Organization
The IUP Veterans Organization is a recently-formed student organization. Its unofficial motto is “Veterans Helping Veterans.” The club connects veterans with their peers and provides school information. As a group, they don’t care about branch of service, rank, or politics. They have met regularly and had speakers from the VFW and VA. They are planning more speakers and a resume workshop to help veterans translate their military experience, skills, and knowledge into “civilian” terms and language.
