If you recieve a notice about the “Emergency Notification–No Response” hold, also known as the “Emergency Alert System” hold, this hold can be lifted very easily.
First, go to URSA and click on the highlighted link that says “Secure Area.” This will take you to the log-in page for your URSA account. After you log into URSA, the very first page that pops up will have the first option of “Emergency Notification System.” Click on this first option. You will be asked to add information. The information needed is a contact phone number and the carrier. You can choose to add the information or decline.
Please note that if you decline, the hold will return during the next registration cycle. This information will only be used in conjunction with emergencies.
