Externship Sponsor Fair

Loading...

As a culinary student at IUP, you will have the opportunity to attend our annual Externship Sponsor Fair. For three weeks of the Spring semester, executive chefs and human resource representatives from some of the most luxurious resort sites in the United States travel to Punxsutawney to meet with culinary and baking students. These professionals devote a full day to IUP students presenting information about their properties, giving career advice, and interviewing for externship positions.

This event is an exceptional opportunity for IUP culinary students to personally interview with some of the most successful chefs in the culinary industry. Students leave these employer presentations and interviews energized and focused on their long-term goals of gaining quality placement and employment! The majority of students who interview at the Sponsor Far will have an externship job offer in hand within weeks after the end of the fair.
