Rosamaria Ponciano Parada is a senior. She is responsible for outreach efforts at College Prep 101 for Latinos and is project coordinator.
Her majors are Regional Planning and GIS/Cartography (Geography), and her minor is Deaf Studies.
Rosamaria is originally from the beautiful land of Guatemala, but she grew up around the D.C. area. Her plans after IUP are to get a graduate degree in Anthropology with a concentration in remote sensing and GIS, and she plans on setting up her own nonprofit someday. Currently, she also works for a nonprofit called TEAMeffort and volunteers with Building New Hope.
