Anelys Santos earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology with honors and a Master in Education degree at IUP. She is currently in the certification program for School Psychology in the Educational Psychology Department.
Anelys is in charge of workshop and program development at College Prep 101 for Latinos. She has a strong passion for reaching out to and working with minority students, especially those who are first-generation minorities from urban communities. She is a first-generation college graduate herself who has lived in both New York City and Reading, Pennsylvania, and she is of Caribbean origin.
Once she completes the School Psychology program, she plans on working in high-need urban communities in which many of the residents are minorities.
