President Wilson called the meeting to order at 8:07 p.m.
1. SPJ-sponsored symposium on Pennsylvania Right to Know Law, March 31, 2010
- Journalism professors are offering extra credit
- VP Melissa Thompson and Lindsey Rodrian volunteer to staff the voucher table
- Advertisements are going out as early as Friday
- Garritt Fleming volunteered to work the video camera for the event
2. Annual SPJ fundraiser at The Brown Hotel Saturday, March 27, 2010
- Everything is set and ready to go
- Flyers are being put up around campus
3. Annual elections for 2010-2011 academic year are planned for April. Nominations should do to Dr. Loomis – doloomis@iup.edu
4. Spring 2010 SPJ membership meeting schedule:
- Every other Monday, 8 p.m., Stapleton Library/Java City.
- Meeting schedule: April 5, April 19
