This workshop will identify key factors which contribute to the difficulties that children who are diagnosed with ADHD face at home, in school, and in their communities. Emphasis will be placed on the differences between ADHD and ODD as well as CD in relation to treatment modalities. The role of the teacher, the aide, the parent/guardian, the therapist, and other helping professionals will be discussed. In addition, focus will be placed on interventions and techniques that professionals can utilize.
