The College of Education and Educational Technology requires that all Education majors have a speech, language, and hearing screening for admission to the teacher certification program.
The IUP Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic offers several walk-in clinics each semester for students to have their speech, language, and hearing screening completed. This screening is a required test that determines if speech, language, and hearing are within normal parameters for performing the duties of a teacher.

Screening Schedule
During Spring semester 2013, students can walk in to Davis Hall, Room 263, on the following dates to complete this screening:
- Friday, February 22, 9:15–11:15 a.m.
- Friday, March 15, 9:15–11:15 a.m.
- Friday, April 26, 9:15–11:15 a.m.
No appointment is necessary. Please bring your I-Card and know your advisor’s name.
