Volume VI No. 2
Bill Pullman

Star at IUP—Actor Bill Pullman was the keynote presenter for the Region II Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival, hosted by the Department of Theater and Dance. More than a thousand students and faculty members from university theater programs across the region participated in the festival. An IUP production, A Year with Frog and Toad, was selected for inclusion in the festival. It is the seventh IUP production in eight years selected for the regional competition, which accepted only nine of about fifty productions entered for consideration. Region II includes more than eighty participating colleges and universities. In addition to a week of performances and completion, festival attendees donated $1,000 for Haiti’s earthquake-relief efforts. Photo: Keith Boyer
