The mission of this organization is to create a social atmosphere where those interested in religion can come together to discuss religious topics, plan trips to visit sacred sites, attend academic religious functions/conferences, and enjoy a community atmosphere. Both students and faculty can participate whether they are a part of the religious studies department, or they simply have a personal interest in religion. It should be noted that it is an academic social organization and not a faith-based one. Membership in this organization is open to all members of the IUP community.
