If you are a Web maintainer, make sure you use Microsoft Internet Explorer for Windows, preferably version 7 or higher.
While it is possible to get the Ektron Workarea functioning in Firefox, Safari, or Chrome, you may encounter errors that crash your browser or introduce markup errors into your Web content.
If you use a Mac, there is, unfortunately, no browser that is fully compatible with the Ektron Workarea. Internet Explorer for Mac is no longer a supported product, and may pose security risks. Other browsers may partially load the Workarea, but will introduce markup errors into your content, reducing the accessibility of your content and impeding indexing by Google.
Internet Explorer 8 is the default Web browser for university computers with Windows 7 installed.
