The IUP Career Development Center offers instant messaging to enable direct communication for general questions regarding services and scheduling career counseling appointments.
AOL Instant Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, or MSN Messenger all can be used to contact the center. After entering a screen name from below into your buddy list, simply message the name with your question(s) and a Career Development counselor will respond to you shortly.

What happens when I message the Career Development Center?
- When you message one of the screen names above you will be connected to one of our Career Development Center counselors. Our counselor will respond back to you regarding your question/concern. If additional research is required by the counselor, there may be a pause in your message in order to fill your request.
What should I do if the screen names above are “away”?
- If there is an “away message” present on one of the screen names above, please leave a message and the Career Development Center counselor will get back to you shortly. If you choose not to leave a message, please telephone or visit the Career Development Center.
