This would be for a Lab Analyst.
Duties would include:
(1) Perform Wet Chemistry & Microbiological analysis implementing the most current version of lab SOP’s.
(2) Demonstrate a general knowledge of and compliance with the test procedures, NELAP quality control policies, safety procedures, records management, and ethical and legal responsibilities.
(3) Maintain thorough knowledge of drinking water requirements, sample handling, sample storage as well as sample holding times.
(4) Perform initial review of all the test data that is generated and promptly inform of any unusual trend in the parameters to the supervisor.
(5) Maintain accountability and personal responsibility for the data generated.
(6) Perform sample collection and other fieldwork as required
(7) Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
This would be a part-time position with potential to becoming full-time. The duration would be for as long as the individual is available. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in this field of study!
