IUP Punxsutawney Library

We are dedicated to enhancing and providing a great start as a source for research support to the students and the faculty of the First-Year Program, and to building on the information literacy skills of all first-year student for lifelong learning.

The IUP at Punxsutawney Library is intended for the use of all members of the IUP community. While we are pleased to permit visitors the use of our various library materials and resources within the library building, you must apply for borrowing privileges by way of a library card. Our mission here at the regional campus is to provide research support to the students and faculty of the First-Year Program, and to build on the information literacy skills of the first-year student for lifelong learning. IUP Library ID cards for members of the IUP community, or Library Special Borrower cards for visitors, can be obtained at the main campus.

  • What if IUP doesn't have the books or articles I want? Contact Mrs. Carol Asamoah, library technician, at carasam@iup.eduto help you with Interlibrary Loans.
  • Can I get a job at the library? Yes. Download the following form, fill it out, and send as an attachment to Mrs. Carol Asamoah at carasam@iup.edu.
  • How do I get to materials my professor has on reserve? Come into the library and see Mrs. Carol Asamoah.
  • What other things can I borrow from the library? Multimedia, such as DVDs, CDs, and laptops. Come to the Circulation Desk and see Mrs. Carol Asamoah.
