“My SECA Story”
SECA provides several ways to make a tax-deductible contribution to the charity(ies) of your choice: payroll deduction; check, money order, cash, or credit card.
IUP employees will no longer receive pledge forms. Follow this link to download a PDF version of the pledge form, which you may print, sign, and send via campus mail to the Engineering and Construction Office, Attn: Ray Wygonik, Rm. 1, Robertshaw Building. If you cannot access the form, please send a message to Mandi Custer at mandi@iup.edu or call her at 724-357-9307.
On the pledge form, you’ll need to indicate the charities to which you wish to donate (one or several, up to a limit of four). A complete list of all 1,400 charities is available in the SECA Resource Guide. As a convenience to some employees, we have provided a shorter list of United Way agencies in Western Pennsylvania. If you leave the Agency Designation portion of the form blank, your contribution will be distributed proportionately to the eight umbrella organizations in the statewide SECA campaign.
If you choose to make your gift through payroll deduction, those deductions will begin with the first pay period in January 2013. In order for them to take effect then, the forms must be received in Harrisburg on or before November 2, 2012. Deductions based on forms received after that date will begin as soon as possible. Donations in any form made before the end of 2012 will count toward the SECA at IUP campaign.
IUP SECA Task Force members are Terry Appolonia, Eric Barker, Emily Briggs, Michelle Fryling, Sam Phillips, Deane Snavely, Mindy Wygonik, and Ray Wygonik.
